MEET THE DOCTOR:

Dr. Lee Ligon is a native of Dallas and a 4th generation Texan. He received his Bachelor Degree in Microbiology from the University of North Texas in 1993. He received his Doctorate in Chiropractic from Parker College of Chiropractic in 1997 and has continued to do post graduate studies in the fields of nutrition and sports injuries. Dr. Lee initially opened his practice in Addison, Texas but decided to move to Fairview several years ago to be closer to home. He says "I love Fairview/McKinney and really enjoy helping the people of this area".

Dr. Lee has many outside interests. He has played as a professional musician most of his adult life and has played keyboards for such bands as Rock Bottom, Sky Tribe, and country recording artist Lacy Jade. He recently played with the " Royal Keefers," a Jimmy Buffet tribute band and frequently plays on the worship team at his home church, Christ Fellowship in McKinney Texas.

Dr. Ligon also loves art and works with stain glass, steel sculpture, and painting. Many of his works can be seen at the clinic and around town in many restaurants, bars, churches, and private collections.

He is married to local screen writer and actress, Davette Shands and they live in McKinney. Between them, he and Davette have six children, one grandson, two chickens and Phil, the rabbit.
